Introducing Douceur, a contemporary coffee shop that invites you in to savor a curated selection of international roasts, all the while casting a spotlight on their inspiration - French coffee culture. Douceur was conceived to resonate with individuals who seek a blend of cultural charm and modern coffee experiences.
For this project it was important to encapsulate the comforting ambiance of a laid-back Parisian cafe within a contemporary setting. Creating a brand identity that speaks to the feeling of a cozy Sunday afternoon led the creative direction for Douceur.
The outcome of the Douceur project perfectly mirrors its name, which translates to "gentleness" in French. The coffee shop's name not only represents the calm and cozy atmosphere of a café but also reflects the carefully selected color palette inspired by 'French Blue'. This palette, combined with muted tones, creates a harmonious connection to coffee. The logo's hand-drawn illustrations further enrich the brand identity and can be seamlessly integrated across various mediums, such as flyers, napkins, and coasters, enhancing the café's charm.
